Chase Mathis
Tim Mathis, Chase Mathis's father, said at a rally after a legislative hearing that his son died in Elmore County Prison in 2014. He did not say how or under what circumstances Chase died, and no cause or manner has been given in the reporting. The death was raised publicly by his father, whose remarks were reported by the Alabama Reflector on October 23, 2025.
