Charles Ross
Charles Ross, 63, died on May 30, 2019, in an exercise yard at California State Prison, Sacramento, in Folsom, after a fight involving at least two other men held at the prison. Officers saw the fight at about 2:15 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at 2:34 p.m. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he was stabbed with a weapon made by two other men held there. The Sacramento County coroner's office and the department are investigating his death as a homicide.
