Charles Nelson
Charles Nelson died on September 26, 2021, while held at the Chatham County Detention Center in Georgia. An officer found him unresponsive in his cell during a routine check that Sunday morning, and he was pronounced dead at a hospital. Sheriff John Wilcher's office has not released a cause or manner of death, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
