His mother said she had been having contractions for hours and asked to be taken to the emergency room. Doctors at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, as reported by WFAA, described kidney failure, brain damage, underdeveloped lungs and heart failure, and Cashh died there on May 26, 2018, after nine days on life support. His grandmother, Sherry White, said she never expected to bury a grandchild she had barely gotten to hold, and the family released white balloons at the funeral and buried him in a small cemetery in Waxahachie. The sheriff's department said it was confident there was no fault by jail or medical staff, and the Texas Rangers investigated the circumstances of his birth.
