Carrington Bradley
Carrington Bradley, 23, was generous and gregarious, according to his mother, Jennifer Bradley, who said he helped others held at the prison, had earned his G.E.D., and was thinking about his future. He died in March 2020 at a state prison in Macon, Georgia, after another person held there stabbed him in the chest and neck during an argument. His mother says the dorm had one guard for many people and that he was left bleeding for at least half an hour before receiving medical attention. She says officials did not notify her and that she had to call them herself. She also says he died shortly before he would have been eligible for parole.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody (neglect alleged). His mother says staff left him bleeding for at least half an hour before he received medical attention, and officials did not notify her of his death.
Reported by: his mother.
