Brindar Jangir, 36, died on June 16, 2019, at the Lincoln Correctional Center in Nebraska, where he was held under an agreement with Otoe County. Nebraska Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his cell around 2:30 a.m. after an apparent suicide attempt. The Nebraska State Patrol and a grand jury will investigate the death.
