Brendan Brown
Brendan Brown, 38, of Springfield, died on October 8, 2026, at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was being held. Staff found him unresponsive in his cell that morning, and he was pronounced dead at 7:25 a.m. Fairfax County police said their preliminary investigation found no foul play, but the cause and manner of death remain pending an autopsy. Police detectives are investigating his death, as they do for all in-custody deaths at the sheriff's office.
