Brandon Williams
Brandon Williams, 31, died in the Washington Parish Jail in Franklinton, Louisiana, on February 3, 2022. The sheriff's office said he took drugs with two other people held at the jail, and that the drugs had been hidden in the body of another man transferred from a Mississippi jail. Earlier that day, around 2 p.m., the person in medical distress was taken to Riverside Medical Center, where a sheriff's office account says they died. The sheriff's office said a preliminary investigation suggested several people possibly ingested a toxic substance. The autopsy results are still pending and the investigation is ongoing.
