Barry Baker
Barry Baker was a former pilot and a Little League baseball coach, and he is survived by his wife, Lori, a son and two grandchildren. His family says he had dementia and other disabilities and was not given his medications while he was held at the Madison County Jail. He was released on March 29, 2022, and his family says he was not helped at release and would have been severely confused. Less than 24 hours later, on March 30, 2022, he was struck and killed by a train in Anderson. The family blames police for failing to help them find him, and the sheriff said the family's allegations do not have merit.
