Anthony Alvarez Junior
Anthony Alvarez Junior, 29, of Fresno County, died on August 21, 2024, while held at High Desert State Prison in Susanville, California. High Desert State Prison officials said two other people held at the prison attacked him that evening and that he died of his injuries. Officials said they recovered two weapons made by people held at the prison and are investigating his death as a homicide.
