Anibal Ortiz
Anibal Ortiz, 48, died in September 2025 after a fight involving several prisoners at the Northeast New Mexico Correctional Facility in Clayton, New Mexico. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital. New Mexico State Police are investigating his death as a homicide. The Corrections Department said his next of kin has been notified.
