Amanda Jo Stott-Smith
Amanda Jo Stott-Smith, a 45-year-old woman, was found dead in her cell at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville, Oregon, on June 4, 2023. The Oregon Department of Corrections and the State Medical Examiner said she died of natural causes. Author Nancy Rommelmann wrote about Amanda's life and her motherhood in the 2018 book To the Bridge, a True Story of Motherhood and Murder. She had been in the Oregon prison system since 2010.
